18 MARCH 2013//Postgraduate (south) forum + networking lunch

Join us this coming Thursday for a 'Postgraduate (South) Forum + Networking Lunch' at the University Club.

The forum is part of a series of forums organised this year by your Union to gather feedback regarding your University experience to date and to discuss the visions and aspirations of postgraduates for their Union and University.

Your panelist for Thursday's Forum are Postgraduate President Vino Rajandran, TUU President Alex West, and Council of Australian Postgraduate Associations Vice-President Harry Rolf.

10 MARCH 2013//GREAT START TO THE YEAR!

It has been a great start to the year for the Postgraduate Community at the University. The inaugaral postgraduate event 'Wine+Cheese+Music' evening saw nearly 100 postgraduate students based in the southern campuses at the Stanley Burbury Foyer participate in a series of wine and cheese tasting, led by postgraduate students and academic staff at the University. We are TasPostgrads are really grateful for your support during this events. Click here to view the photos that were taken at the event!

In Week 2 of the academic semester, the Postgraduate Community gathered again, this time for a networking lunch at the University Club. The event was attended by 50+ students (and we apologise for running out of vegetarian options). Dr Ingo Farin gave his insight into the changing higher education sector with the new MOOCs phenomenon. We thank him for his support and for making time to participate at the event.

Watch this space for updates on the next networking lunch!
